A recent survey of companies has revealed that the majority of law firms are not offering to clients the full benefit of IT systems.
Oyez Legal Technologies conducted a survey of FTSE-100 companies and the results show an unwillingness of law firms to provide IT support to clients and also to use the available IT resources. It found that only 47% of law firms involved in large, complex or multinational litigation provided electronic support. This is surprising as the survey very clearly showed that the people instructing these leading law firms saw real value in the additional service.
