For some years Julian was the Head of the Trusts and Probate Department of a well known national practice.  He has lectured on tax to other professionals and has spoken on his subject on national radio. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners; of the Holborn and City of Westminster Law Society and of the Law Society's Probate Section.  He also contributes sporadically to the Trusts Discussion Forum.

Julian is married with one adult son.  His particular interest is classical music and during the summer months he spends much of his free time at the Albert Hall, at the Proms.
