Frances graduated with Honours in Law from Kings College, London University, and trained at Moon Beever, becoming a Solicitor in 1984. She obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in European Law in 1993. Frances became a Partner in 1988 and was made Managing Partner in 2000.
In 1999, Frances was instrumental in the formation of ShawnCoulson, which she manages jointly with William Shawn of the Washington DC office.
Frances is a Member of the Insolvency Lawyers Association, R3 (the Association of Business Recovery Professionals), the European Insolvency Practitioners Association and the Society of Computers and Law. She is a regular speaker on numerous topics, including insolvency, e-commerce and practice management, around the UK and overseas.
Mother of 3 daughters and proud owner of a house husband, who enables all, Frances is an avid equestrian but also enjoys reading and the theatre (time permitting).
